The Belgian Chamber of Commerce in Turkey was founded by Izzet AKOSMAN, Afif TEKTAŞ, Willi MARGUERY, and Gabriel COUTEAUX in 1926 with the aim of supporting economic, commercial, social, and cultural relations.
At the Ordinary General Assembly held at the Consulate General of Belgium in Istanbul on 16 April 2009, after receiving the power of attorney of the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce from the Federation of Belgian Chambers of Commerce, the name of our Chamber was changed to the Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Turkey.
The Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Turkey supports Belgian and Luxembourgish companies established in Turkey to develop trade and industrial relations with Turkey. Our Chamber also supports Turkish companies wishing to operate in Belgium and Luxembourg.
The Belgian Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Turkey is a member of the Federation of Belgian Chambers of Commerce (cci.be).
To promote the Belgian-Luxembourgish-Turkish Businesses, trilateral trade and investment by supporting and defending the interests of our members.
The mission of the Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Turkey is to develop friendly relations between Turkey, Belgium, and Luxembourg, help develop ties in all subjects in the economic field, and encourage the actions in these fields.
The primary objectives of the Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Turkey are;
To help its members with developing trade between Turkey and Belgium and Luxembourg,
To contribute to the development of cultural, social, and commercial relations between Turkey, Belgium, and Luxembourg by helping people who do business with Belgium and Luxembourg,
To provide services and ideas on business development,
To create business opportunities between Turkey, Belgium, and Luxembourg,
To help reduce existing trade barriers between Turkey and Belgium, and Luxembourg,
To increase cooperation and investments by developing relations between members,
To improve Turkish, Belgian, and Luxembourgish business partnerships in Turkey, Belgium, and Luxembourg,
To provide assistance and support to Turkish, Belgian, and Luxembourgish companies in their professional relationships.
Graduated from Lycee Saint Benoit High School in 2002, Galatasaray University in 2007 and got his Master’s degree from Cass Business School in 2009. He started his career in 2010, as the Supply Chain Manager in Azelis. Then he started working as Sales and Business Development Manager in H.Essers in 2012 and after 3 years there he got promoted to country manager of Turkey which he still continues to give his services there. He speaks fluent in English and French.

Bu görevden sonra 2014 yılında Unilever Food Solutions Global Satış Direktörü olarak uluslararası bir görev almıştır. Unilever’deki son görevinde Modern Ticaret’in başında yer almıştır.Ulak, Nisan 2018’de Barry Callebaut ailesine katılmıştır. Dünyanın en büyük çikolata ve kakao üreticisi olan Barry Callebaut’un Türkiye’de artan yatırımlarına ve her geçen gün büyüyen ekibine liderlik eden ilk genel müdür olmaktan büyük onur ve gurur duymuştur. Kurulan A-Takımı, artan müşteri sayısı ve sürdürülebilir inovasyonlar sayesinde BC Türkiye 4 yıl içerisinde çok önemli başarılara imza atmıştır. Bu başarılar 2020 yılında CEO Antoine de Saint-Affrique tarafından verilen küresel "Tutku Ödülü"nü almasını sağlamıştır. Eskişehir AR-GE tesisi ve İstanbul Çikolata Akademisinin relansmanı da bu dönem içerisinde tamamlanmıştır. Kendisi bu görev sırasında EEMEA Bölgesi'nin yönetim kurulunda oturmuş ve aynı zamanda Barry Callebaut Diversity&Inclusion Konseyi’nde EMEA bölgesini temsil etmiştir.Şubat 2022 itibariyle girişimciliğe adım atan Ulak, Sobrinus Danışmanlık ve Eğitim A.Ş.’inin kurucu ortağı olarak iş hayatına devam etmektedir. Bunun yanısıra La Lorraine Türkiye ve Orta Asya Bağımsız Yönetim Kurulu üyesidir.Neslihan Nigiz Ulak, kadın istihdamının artması ve iş hayatında kapsayıcı politikaların hayata geçirilmesi adına on yılın üstünde çalışmakta ve katkı sunmaktadır. LEAD Network Türkiye’nin kurucu üyesi ve yönetim kurulundadır. Türk Üniversiteli Kadınlar Derneği Ataşehir Şube Başkanıdır. YANINDAYIZ Derneği, Sales Network ve Women in Sales platformlarına üyedir. Tüketici ürünleri sektöründeki kadın ve erkeklere eşit fırsatlar sağlamayı amaçlayan dijital platform “EVEN” in kurucularından biridir. Kendisi evli ve bir çocuk annesidir.

Read moreThe accreditation programme is the result of an intensive collaboration between the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce and the Federation of Belgian Chambers of Commerce, the umbrella organization for all Chambers of Commerce in Belgium.
The accreditation programme aims to outline the main principles that Chambers need to take into account when fulfilling their mission:
● a corporate governance structure allowing to run the Chamber in a professional way and not subject to personal interests
● a professional way of working assuring continuity and offering a consistent range of quality services and activities;
● synergy with the Luxembourg authorities as well as the federal and regional Belgian authorities, which defend and promote economic and commercial interests of Luxembourg and Belgium.
By granting an accreditation, the Federation and the Luxembourg Chamber want to give a clear sign that the Chamber is a reliable partner for helping companies with their international expansion.
